Counselors will return in August. If you require FAFSA assistance please look at these FAFSA-related steps for Class of 2023 graduates. 

STEP 1: The Student and parent will need to obtain an FSA ID # you can do this at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch

STEP 2: you can start to fill out the FAFSA application for 2023-2024 year- the website is https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa

If you need assistance, the New Mexico Educational Assistance Foundation (NMEAF) has additional information on their website on support at www.nmeaf.org and you can set up a virtual appointment by emailing: outreach@nmeaf.org.  The University of New Mexico also offers FAFSA workshops and support to any student regardless of their college choice: https://financialaid.unm.edu/fafsaworkshops/index.html

Create your PARCHMENT account as soon as possible.

Create your FSA ID for the FAFSA as soon as possible.  The FAFSA will open on 10/01/2022.
